Raipur- Assembly elections are to be held in Chhattisgarh on 7 and 17 November. The Code of Conduct has been imposed in the state immediately after the election date was decided. In such a situation, the administration of Balrampur district has come into alert zone. Revenue and police department teams are seen on the streets. So that they can be asked to follow the rules of the code of conduct. Besides, the work of removing the posters put up for the promotion of political parties is also going on.

In fact, all the banners and posters of political faces are put up in the district headquarters. The administration team has started removing it and the vehicles are also being checked. Regarding this, Tehsildar Roshni Tirkey said that as soon as the code of conduct is imposed, we have taken to the streets to enforce its rules and action will be taken as per the further guidelines given by the government. The impact of the code of conduct was also visible in Narayanpur, the exercise to remove political posters from roads and intersections has started. The municipality team is following the instructions of the District Election Officer.

Leader of Opposition Narayan Chandel said that despite the imposition of the code of conduct, the state government did not remove the posters. Therefore, he requested the Election Commission to get such posters removed immediately.
