Kanker. While addressing Rahul Gandhi’s meeting organized in Bhanupratappur area of Kanker district, CM Bhupesh Baghel targeted the BJP government that ran for 15 years in the state. He said, Raman Singh only did the work of cheating. There was talk of purchasing paddy at Rs 2100 and giving a bonus of Rs 300, but it was not given. When the double engine government was formed in 2014, the bonus was stopped. For this reason farmers did not get two years’ bonus. We had announced to give this, but the Central Government has banned giving the bonus. A letter has been written to PM Modi for this but no permission has been given yet.
CM Baghel (Bhupesh Baghel) said, BJP is continuously working against the farmers. When Congress announced loan waiver, BJP people were feeling stomach ache. Raman government made a lot of ration cards before the elections but after the elections thousands of ration cards were cancelled. Raman government did the work of snatching one lakh acres of land from the tribals.
First hang Raman upside down
Mr. Baghel (Bhupesh Baghel) said, in the nomination rally of former CM Raman Singh, Union Home Minister Amit Shah had talked about hanging the corrupt upside down. The biggest corrupt person is Raman Singh. Those who committed rice, ration, coal scam should be hanged upside down first.
Paddy accused of lying
CM Baghel (Bhupesh Baghel) said, Congress has announced four guarantees so far. Congress has announced caste census, housing for 17.5 lakh poor families, purchase of 20 quintals of paddy and loan waiver for farmers. PM Modi visits Chhattisgarh every time. They say that the BJP government buys paddy. Modi government should explain that if it buys paddy for Rs 2600 in Chhattisgarh, then why it buys paddy for Rs 1200 a quintal in its areas UP and Gujarat.
