Durg. Senior GM Satish Kumar, who worked in BSNL in Durg district of Chhattisgarh, committed suicide by hanging himself in his own office. The people of the office informed the Mohan Nagar police about this. On reaching the spot, the police removed the dead body and sent it for postmortem after doing panchnama. At present, the police has started taking further action.
According to the information received, Satish Kumar (52 years) lived in Asha Apartment, Pragati Nagar Risali. He was working as Senior GM in Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited. Left home at 5.30 pm on Sunday evening for office and did not return again.

When the employees reached the office on Monday morning, the door was locked from inside. He shouted but there was no movement. After this he informed the Mohan Nagar police. When the police reached the spot, broke the door and saw that Satish Kumar’s body was hanging on a nylon rope. The police got the dead body removed from the trap and sent it for postmortem.
The reason for the suicide is not clear
At present, the reason for the suicide is not yet clear and no suicide note has been found from the room. During interrogation, it was found that the work load on Satish Kumar had increased. Employees say that, perhaps that is why they would have taken such a step.
Relatives reached the police station to file a missing report
Please inform that, Satish Kumar had left home on Sunday evening saying that he would return soon. When he did not return till late night, the relatives tried to find out by calling. But no one picked up the phone, the relatives searched for him the whole night. On Monday morning, his wife and children reached Newai police station to lodge a missing report. There he came to know that Satish Kumar had committed suicide.
