News2News.in News, Raipur:Former minister Rajesh Munat, while reacting to the announcements of Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel in Raipur city, said that no matter how much they try to spread confusion, the reality cannot be hidden. In last five and a half years, he did not perform Bhoomi Pujan of even a single big project in Raipur capital. Till now, they are trying to garner applause for the works approved during the tenure of the BJP government. He said, they know that he is a liar, they are scared, hence they will hardly be able to muster the courage to accept his invitation. BJP will unequivocally reject his statement. He said, he himself will go out with the BJP workers with binoculars to find out the work done during the tenure of Mr. Baghel.

He said, the Chief Minister is so surrounded by corruption allegations that any major action is possible against him at any time. He knows very well that Congress is going to be ousted from power in a few months. That is why he wants to make an election announcement in the remaining few days and get his name on the inscription. He said, the budget for the construction of Telibandha flyover for which Bhoomi Pujan was performed today, was approved in 2017 itself during the BJP rule. The Congress government, perhaps in order to steal the commission, deliberately stopped its construction for 5 years. As Housing and Environment Minister in the BJP government, I had approved the construction of Kharun River Front, but the same Congress seemed to oppose it.

Bhoomipujan show of Tatyapara Chowk

Munat termed the Bhoomi Pujan for widening the road from Sharda Chowk to Tatyapara Chowk as a show off. The survey for widening of Tatyapara Chowk road was conducted during the BJP rule. If there was an intention to get the work done, it would not have waited till the elections. Like other announcements, this too will prove to be a sham.
