After which the police issued notices to some BJP leaders and the BJP also fiercely attacked the Congress. Regarding this matter, now in Rajnandgaon district of Chhattisgarh, the police has issued a notice while taking action against 9 people including the WhatsApp group admin. Following the Biranpur communal violence, the Rajnandgaon police, keeping a vigil, have started keeping a close watch on WhatsApp groups in the district. Along with this, instructions have also been given to those who spread false rumors on social media. Despite this, some anti-social elements are working to disturb religious harmony in the WhatsApp group.
Do not hurt religious sentiments – CSP
CSP Amit Patel said that people should avoid posting such religious and social harmony messages on all social media platforms. Police have arrested 9 people, including Dheeraj Patel, a member of the concerned WhatsApp group, in connection with the complaint of posting a post hurting religious sentiments. Although there are some people who have apologized to the police administration after this action. After which the police explained to them and told them not to put the post again.
