Raipur . A truck hit a young man riding a scooty in Tatibandh Chowk of Raipur, the capital of Chhattisgarh. The collision was so severe that the maternal grandfather of the young man sitting behind on the scooter died on the spot. The same youth was seriously injured. As soon as the information was received, the police reached the spot and the injured youth was admitted to the hospital for treatment. The same accused truck driver has been arrested. The matter is of Amanaka police station area.
According to the information received, the name of the deceased is Jaganmohan Rao. He was a resident of Bhilai. It was being told that Durga Prasad, grandson of Jaganmohan Rao, is a resident of West Singhbhum district of Jharkhand. He had come to Raipur from Bhilai on the morning of 7th October to take the banking examination. After giving the examination, Durga Prasad was returning to Bhilai with his maternal grandfather. Then a speeding truck hit his scooter from behind. The collision was so severe that the maternal grandfather of the young man sitting behind on the scooter died on the spot. The same youth was seriously injured. As soon as information about this was received, the police reached the spot and the injured youth was admitted to the hospital for treatment. The same accused truck driver Raju Kardhari has been arrested and the truck has been confiscated. At present the police have started further investigation.
