A similar story is of the Sahu family resident of village Mandhar. On December 11, 35-year-old Dhaneshwar Sahu died in a road accident. After this it seemed as if a mountain of sorrows fell upon his family.

Champeshwari Sahu, wife of the deceased, told that her husband Dhaneshwar Sahu used to work as a laborer under a contractor in Sarada Energy Factory of Siltara. It was from his income that the children’s education and the family’s survival were going on. He has three sons. The elder boy is 18 years old, the second one is 15 and the youngest is 12 years old. After the death of his father, he started worrying about his children’s education and running the household.

Husband died in the accident, wife and niece narrowly escaped.

Dhaneshwar Sahu, along with his wife Champeshwari Sahu and 13 year old niece, all three Jarodas had left Mandhar’s house in a bike to attend the birthday program of their brother-in-law. Village Tor had just reached near Shitala temple when the tractor trolley driver coming from the front hit the couple riding a bike. As soon as they stumbled, Dhaneshwar’s wife and the minor girl jumped and fell away, due to which both narrowly escaped death. Dhaneshwar Sahu came under the wheels of the tractor-trolley and died on the spot. The driver had fled from the spot with the tractor trolley. The trolley was loaded with paddy. The tractor is said to be of a person from Tor village.

Police is supplying food in the name of investigation in the case

In this case, the police is supplying food in the name of investigation. 10 days have passed since the incident but the police have not yet seized the tractor trolley. Neither has the accused been caught. In such a situation, the wife of the deceased has appealed to the public representatives for justice and has demanded compensation.
