Katihar Tripple Murder: In the Katihar district of Bihar, there was a stir on Tuesday late night due to the triple murder. A sleeping mother and her two children were brutally murdered by slitting their throats in their house in Singhpur village under Ballia Belaun police station area of the district. The husband had gone out of the house at the time of the incident. On returning, his soul trembled after seeing the scene of the house. He ran out of the house making noise. After knowing the reason for his shouting, the people around informed the police. Police (Katihar Police) and forensic team (Forensic team) have sent the dead bodies for postmortem after inspecting the spot. Prima facie, the reason behind the incident which the police is finding is very shocking.
According to media reports, Mohammed Firoz, a resident of Singhpur village under Ballia Belaun police station area, told the police that he had gone out to see the Muharram procession in the village at 10 pm on Tuesday night. His wife Sadaf Zareen (35), daughter Faya (10) and son Faizan (5) were at home. When he returned home at around one o’clock in the night, he found the bodies of all three lying on the bed soaked in blood. He denied having any enmity with anyone.
This could be the reason for the murders
SDPO Premnath Ram, who reached the spot after getting information about the incident, says that the weapon used in the murder has been recovered from the spot. Prima facie it seems that this incident was done due to old enmity. All the knowers of the victim’s family will also be questioned to reach the accused. However, efforts are being made to get the post mortem report as soon as possible, on the basis of which the direction of further investigation can be decided. The concerned investigating officer said that all the three bodies have been sent for postmortem report.

Police say that Mohammad Firoz left home at 10 pm and returned home at 1 am. In such a situation, the murder of the woman and her two children has been done between this time. He said that whoever the accused may be, they would be traced and arrested at the earliest. On the other hand, there is an atmosphere of sensation in the surrounding area due to this triple murder.
