Bihar Crime: A history-sheeter was shot dead in Sitamarhi, Bihar. The incident is of Sultanpur village under Runnisaidpur police station area of the district, where miscreants shot dead a history-sheeter named Sarvesh Das. As soon as the information about the incident was received, the Sitamarhi police reached the spot. After this, the police took the dead body in their possession and sent it for postmortem and got involved in the investigation of the incident.
Sarvesh was accused in many cases
According to media reports, some bike-borne miscreants shot and killed a history-sheeter named Sarvesh Das at the doorstep of his house. It is being told that the deceased criminal Sarvesh was involved in many heinous crimes. Many cases like murder, extortion, loot and Arms Act were registered on it. In the year 2019, Sarvesh was arrested by the police. He had come out of jail only 4 months back. People say that even while in jail, he used to work for extortion and from there he used to run his gang. Even in 2020, miscreants once fired at his house, though Sarvesh was in jail at that time.

While he was sitting at the door of his house on Saturday night, two miscreants reached his house and shot him dead. By the time the villagers reached there after hearing the sound of the bullet, the miscreants had fled.
