Bihar Lok Sabha Election: The opposition INDIA faction gave the final seal to the seat-sharing deal in Bihar for the 2024 Lok Sabha elections. Former Chief Minister Lalu Prasad Yadav’s party Rashtriya Janata Dal has got the maximum seats. However, Pappu Yadav, who had joined Congress in the hope of getting a ticket, has suffered a major setback. Purnia seat has come in RJD’s share. RJD has already fielded Bima Bharti from Purnia. Kanhaiya Kumar’s Begusarai seat has gone to CPI’s account.

Speculation of tension put to rest
The distribution of seats has put an end to the speculations of tension in the Grand Alliance. Actually, there was tension in the Grand Alliance regarding Purnia seat of Bihar. Former Deputy Chief Minister of Bihar Tejashwi Yadav had fielded his candidates on many seats. There were many such seats on which Congress was eyeing. These included the names of Aurangabad, Begusarai, Katihar, Siwan, Purnia. RJD had fielded its candidate from Purnia seat without seat sharing.

Pappu Yadav said- Will hoist Congress flag from Purnia
Pappu Yadav is claiming the Purnia seat. They are not ready to retreat. Recently he had said that I will fight against Purnia otherwise not. Before the announcement of seat sharing, Pappu Yadav wrote in his ex-post that after winning Seemanchal Kosi, he will form the Congress government in the country. Will wave Congress flag in Purnia. Will make Rahul Gandhi the Prime Minister.

At present Pappu Yadav’s wishes seem to be in vain. Supaul, Madhepura and Purnia seats have come to RJD’s account. These are the seats from where Pappu Yadav has contested elections at one time or the other.
