Bihar News: Big news is coming out from Begusarai district of Bihar. In fact, liquor smugglers allegedly killed a sub-inspector in Begusarai. According to the information, the liquor smugglers crushed the inspector with their car while escaping. In which the Inspector died, while a Home Guard was seriously injured. The incident took place on Tuesday night. There was a stir in the police department after the incident. As soon as the information was received, Begusarai SP reached the spot and started investigating the case. Police is carrying out a search operation in search of liquor smugglers. Begusarai SP has directed to arrest the liquor smugglers as soon as possible.

Inspector died on the spot due to head injury

According to officials, the incident took place in Navkothi police station area of ​​Begusarai, where a five-member police team led by Sub-Inspector (SI) Khamas Chaudhary was present to stop liquor smuggling after receiving a tip-off. Meanwhile, at 12:30 in the night, to stop the Alto car, Inspector Khamas Choudhary along with his team stopped the police vehicle near Chhatauna Budhi Gandak river bridge and started checking the vehicle. Then the police tried to stop the Alto car coming from the front. As soon as the liquor smuggler saw the police, he increased the speed of the car. The police team tried to stop him but the liquor smuggler ran away after hitting Inspector Khamas Chaudhary and the Home Guard jawan. The inspector died on the spot due to head injury. The condition of the home guard jawan is critical.

Alto car owner arrested

Talking about the incident, Superintendent of Police (SP) Begusarai Yogendra Kumar said that SI Khamas Choudhary lost his life while trying to stop liquor smuggling. An Alto car hit him and he died. The SP further said that a team has been formed under a Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) rank officer to arrest the accused present in the car. The owner of the Alto car has been raided and arrested. Further action is underway in the matter.
