While talking to the media, Adhir Ranjan Chaudhary said that we also want to know the secret behind the recovery of so much money from Dheeraj Sahu’s house. He said that we should get all the information from where this money was looted, where they did business and what will be the punishment for this. We also want to know what the government wants to do. Taking a dig at BJP, he said that Mehul Choksi, Nirav Modi and Vijay Mallya fled the country after stealing thousands of crores, but at least Dheeraj Sahu has not run away.
Union Minister Rijiju hit back at Congress
Union Minister Kiren Rijiju attacked Congress over the seizure of more than Rs 300 crore during the Income Tax Department raid on Dheeraj Sahu. He said that Congress and corruption are synonyms of each other. The root cause of corruption in the country is the Congress Party. Due to the action being taken against Dheeraj Sahu, names of Congress and many people with it are coming to light. He further said that for this reason Congress is always angry with the agencies and the PM, but Congress will definitely have to pay the price of its wrong actions.
