West Bengal: Is Shubhendu Adhikari in the mood to leave BJP? Meeting with CM Mamta Banerjee

A big news has come out from West Bengal, BJP leader met Chief Minister and Trinamool Congress Party supremo Mamata Banerjee on Friday. The same Leader of the Opposition was invited by Mamta Banerjee for tea. After receiving Mamata’s invitation, along with MLAs Agnimitra Paul and Manoj Tigga went to meet her in her chamber in the assembly.

The meetings between the two leaders lasted for about seven minutes. After the meeting, Mamta said, ‘I had called Shubhendu Adhikari for tea.’ The Leader of the State Opposition answered that call. In that context, Shubhendu Adhikari told that it was a ‘courtesy call’. Where did Mamta Banerjee during the meeting ask all the opposition MLAs to attend various government programs, but Shubhendu Adhikari alleged that they are not invited to government programs.

On this Mamta said that she is called in all the meetings. But they don’t come on their own. He was called in BGBS, but no one turned up. has not been given the chairmanship of a single standing committee in Parliament. Is this not an insult to Bengal? The governor took the oath. Sukant Majumdar, Shubhendu Adhikari did not go. CPM leader Biman Bose had come. Was this not an insult to the Governor?

Please tell that Shubhendu Adhikari was earlier a (Trinamool Congress Party) MLA and was in Mamta Banerjee’s cabinet, but before the assembly elections, he left TMC and joined BJP. During the assembly elections, there was a contest between Mamta and Shubhendu Adhikari in Nandigram. Mamta Banerjee was defeated in that election. After that this is the first time that there has been a meeting between the CM and Shubhendu Adhikari.

BJP IT cell chief Amit Malviya tweeted on the meeting of the two leaders, he wrote in the tweet that Mamta Banerjee’s ego is eating dust. Eventually, she understood that in democratic politics, she could not ignore a strong opposition like BJP. She bent to find a middle ground on the issues and met Shubhendu Adhikari, the Leader of the Opposition who defeated her in Nandigram, and 3 other BJP MLAs.
