Telangana Assembly Election: Amidst the excitement of Telangana Assembly elections, another incident has come to light. Here an MLA from KCR’s party was targeted and attacked with stones, due to which he was seriously injured. The injured MLA was first taken to the district hospital and later transferred to Apollo Hospital in Hyderabad. Party members said that the MLA’s car also suffered heavy damage during the dispute. After this, the already tense atmosphere between the ruling party and the opposition increased further.

Accusations against Congress workers

MLA Guvvala Balaraju, representing Achampet constituency in Nagarkurnool district, secured the ticket for the Telangana Assembly elections. After this he intensified his campaign in his constituency. However, tensions escalated when Vamsi Krishna, contesting the election on behalf of the Congress, accused Guvwala of distributing money during his campaign and alleged that money was hidden in his car.

Some supporters of Vamsi Krishna had stopped Guvwala’s car at the campaign site and insisted on checking it. This action led to a heated clash between the Congress and BRS factions, which escalated into a scuffle. During this clash, both the parties pelted stones at each other, due to which Guvwala’s car was badly damaged. Furthermore, MLA Guvwala suffered serious injuries in the stone attack, following which he was immediately taken to the local district hospital, where he received initial medical care.

After this, he was taken to Hyderabad for treatment. Observers have noted that while verbal clashes between BRS and Congress continue in the backdrop of the elections, tensions are likely to escalate further by resorting to physical violence. After this incident, KCR and other party workers are also filled with anger.
