Telangana Assembly Election: Telangana Assembly Elections are to be held later this year. The Congress has stepped up preparations regarding this. Meanwhile, Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge has visited Telangana today i.e. on Saturday. During this, while addressing the public meeting, he has fiercely targeted CM KCR and BJP. He said that both are friends of each other. You people have gathered here to overthrow the government. He said that Telangana was formed because of the people here and the Congress, but someone else is taking its credit.
Congress works for the public
Kharge said that KCR did not have this much power earlier. We have given him power, but now KCR has become friend of BJP. This friendship is internal. He cannot speak openly about it. He said that whatever promise Rahul Gandhi and Sonia Gandhi make, they fulfill it. Congress works for the public, but BJP people say that we have not done anything in the last 53 years.
He said that after independence, the Congress worked to integrate 562 princely states into the country. Congress leader Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel united the country. Constitution was given to India by Babasaheb Ambedkar and Congress. IIT, AIIMS, IIM, ISRO and DRDO are all given by Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru and Congress, still BJP asks what Congress has done.
Kharge made this promise to the public
Kharge has promised the public that the land which was taken away from the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes, will be returned to them. In Karnataka, we are giving back the lands by enacting a law, here also the land will be given back to the people. Everyone in the country is unitedly ready to oust the BJP government, but KCR has not supported us.
