The demand for apology from TMC leader Kalyan Mukherjee has intensified. Meanwhile, Congress MP Rahul Gandhi has given his reaction on this matter. While talking to the media on the mimicry controversy, Rahul Gandhi said that the MP was sitting there, I shot his video. My video is on my phone. The media is showing it. No one said anything, our 150 MPs have been thrown out of the House but there is no discussion on it in the media. The Congress leader further said that there is no discussion on Adani, no discussion on Rafale, no discussion on unemployment. Our MPs are sitting outside disappointed but you are discussing that (mimicry).

What did Kalyan Banerjee say?

Earlier, on the mimicry controversy, TMC MP Kalyan Banerjee said that I had no intention of hurting anyone including the Vice President. I did not want to hurt any person or position. I have great respect for all the people holding constitutional posts. He further said that Dhankar Sahab is much senior to me, I don’t know why he has taken this upon himself. My question is, if he has taken it upon himself, does he behave like this in the Rajya Sabha?

Meanwhile, on the mimicry controversy, Rajya Sabha Chairman Jagdeep Dhankhar said in the House, I do not care how much you insult Jagdeep Dhankhar. Complaint filed against TMC MP in the Ethics Committee of Rajya Sabha and Lok Sabha

On the other hand, Supreme Court lawyer Vineet Jindal has filed a complaint in the Ethics Committee of Rajya Sabha and Lok Sabha against TMC MP Kalyan Banerjee for imitating Rajya Sabha Chairman and Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar. The complaint demands expulsion of Kalyan Banerjee, Congress MP Rahul Gandhi and other MPs involved.
