Prithvi Shaw Case: The Mumbai Police has made a shocking disclosure regarding Delhi Capitals star batsman Prithvi Shaw. In fact, recently, a social media influencer Sapna Gill had accused Shaw of molesting her in a pub in Andheri area. Regarding this, Mumbai Police told the court that this allegation of social media ‘influencer’ Sapna Gill is ‘false and baseless’. The investigating officer appeared before the court and handed over the report giving this information to the magistrate conducting the hearing.
Big update came in Prithvi Shaw’s case
After the police report was submitted, Sapna Gill’s lawyer Ali Kashif Khan requested the court to allow him to produce the video of the brawl between Sapna Gill and Prithvi Shaw. This video was recorded by Sapna Gill in a friend’s phone which went viral in the media. The court asked to hand over the video footage of the entire incident and adjourned the hearing till 28.
Police made a shocking disclosure
Gill had filed a complaint in a magistrate court in Andheri, requesting registration of an FIR against Shaw and Ashish Yadav under sections 354, 509 and 324 of the IPC. Police said that they have spoken to CISF officials. The officials have denied any such incident. Police said they have recorded statements of witnesses present at the pub where the alleged incident took place. He said that no one touched Gill inappropriately.

Gill alleges that Shaw and his friend Ashish Yadav attacked Sapna Gill with a bat in February. Before going to the court, Sapna had gone to Andheri police station to file a molestation case against Shaw and his friend Ashish Yadav. The police told the court that examination of the CCTV footage of the pub revealed that Sapna Gill was dancing drunk with her friend Shobhit Thakur. According to the police, Shobhit Thakur wanted to record Shaw from his mobile phone. On this, Shaw stops him from taking the video. Police said that going through the footage, it does not appear that Shaw and others coerced or molested Sapna Gill in any way.
Chased Shaw’s car with a baseball bat
The police also examined the CCTV footage around the ATC tower. Police said that Sapna Gill was following Shaw’s car with a baseball bat in her hand. Police said video footage showed Gill smashed the windshield of Shaw’s car.
