Gyanvapi ASI Survey: Varanasi Court of Uttar Pradesh has accepted the petition of ASI Survey of Gyanvapi Temple Complex. Along with this, while accepting the petition, the District Judge has also sought objection from the Muslim side in three days. The court will next hear this on May 22. Before this i.e. by May 19, the Muslim side has to file in the court. At the same time, on May 22 itself, a hearing is to be held in the district judge’s court regarding the scientific survey of the alleged Shivling found in Gyanvapi. The High Court had given an order regarding this.

The petition, filed by advocate Vishnu Jain, demanded a survey of the entire complex by the Archaeological Survey of India. The court has fixed 22nd date for further hearing on the petition of the Hindu party. At the same time, the Muslim parties have also started opposing this decision of the court. In this regard, a petition will be filed on behalf of the Muslim parties on May 19, in which it was said to oppose the ASI survey.

Let us tell you that this decision of the court has come exactly one year after the Shivling found in the Vaju Khana of Gyanvapi Masjid during the advocate commissioner survey of Gyanvapi campus. Last year on 16 May 2022, the alleged Shivling was found in the Gyanvapi campus. At the same time, it is being claimed by the Hindu parties that the real Vishwanath’s Shivling is sitting under this Shivling. Hindu parties say that many things will definitely come to the fore from the order of the court’s survey.

Giving information about the court hearing in this regard, advocate Vishnu Jain said that the court has accepted the petition for ASI survey of the entire Gyanvapi campus. He further said that the Muslim parties have been given time till 19th to present their case. After this, the next hearing will be held in the court on 22 May.
