Jairam Ramesh hit back at PM

Jairam Ramesh posted on X that the Prime Minister has finally broken his silence on the extraordinary incidents that took place in the Lok Sabha on 13 December. He says that there is a need for investigation, not debate and such investigation is going on. All the parties of the India Alliance are demanding that the Home Minister give a statement on what happened on December 13 and how it actually happened. The Prime Minister is running away from this debate. He is avoiding the debate in Parliament because questions will be raised on the role of Mysuru BJP MP Pratap Simha.

PM Modi expressed grief over the incident

PM Modi said that this incident is very sad and worrying. There is a need to go deeper into this issue instead of debate or resistance. Only by doing this the matter will be resolved. The opposition is continuously raising questions on the Modi government regarding the lapses in the security of Parliament. PM Modi said that the seriousness of the incident in Parliament should not be underestimated. Speaker Om Birla is taking serious action in this matter and is taking all necessary steps.

He said that the matter is being investigated strictly by the investigating agencies. The Prime Minister says what elements are involved behind this. It is important to go deeper about this also. We have to come together to find solutions. Everyone should avoid opposition on such a topic.
