Why is Vijay Diwas celebrated

Actually, at the time of partition, two parts of India were separated in the name of West Pakistan and East Pakistan. A large part of Bengal was known as East Pakistan. The government of West Pakistan continued to oppress the people of East Pakistan. Endured oppression for 24 years from East Pakistan to West Pakistan. India supported him in the freedom struggle of East Pakistan. With India’s victory in the war, East Pakistan became independent and became Bangladesh.
