Odisha Train Accident: West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee met the victims of the Balasore train accident in Odisha. He inquired about the well being of the injured undergoing treatment at the hospital in Cuttack. After this, CM distributed checks of assistance amount for financial help to the victim families. Apart from this, he also announced to give a job to a member of the victim families of the state.

According to media reports, CM Mamta Banerjee said that we will give jobs to those whose hands and feet were amputated in the accident. Along with this, jobs will also be given to the relatives of the deceased. I have nothing to say about the CBI investigation. How this incident happened, how many people were killed, its truth should come out. Now is the time to help the families of the victims.

Let us tell you that Mamta Banerjee had already announced Rs 5 lakh compensation and home guard jobs to the families of those who lost their lives in the train accident. Mamta further said that the West Bengal and Odisha governments are working together. The injured are being treated free of cost. Our government has sent 100 ambulances and a team of 40 officers to see the management here. Bodies of 103 people from West Bengal have been identified and 97 people are undergoing treatment. 31 people are still missing.

CBI is probing Balasore train accident

Let us tell you that the Coromandel Express, Yesvantpur-Howrah Express and the goods train collided with each other near Balasore in Odisha on Friday. About 275 people were killed in this accident and more than 1100 people were injured. All the injured are being treated in various hospitals in Odisha.

Even today, the CBI closely inspected the scene of the incident. Along with this, statements of many other employees and officers have also been recorded after inspecting the railway station.
