Odisha Train Accident: Politics has also started after the train accident in Balasore district of Odisha. About 288 people died in this accident and many were injured. The opposition Congress party has asked 7 questions to the ruling Modi government. Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge said on the Twitter handle that these 7 questions to the Modi government on perhaps the most painful train accident of independent India. Also, said that the advertising PR has hollowed out the working system of the Modi government.

Questioning the Modi Government, he said that 3 lakh posts are vacant in the Railways, the posts of senior officers are also vacant, the recruitment of which is done by the PMO. Why has the government not filled them for 9 years?
The Railway Board has also admitted that long working hours of loco pilots due to acute shortage of manpower is also a reason for the increasing number of accidents. Still why these posts have been kept vacant.
