ODI World Cup 2023: The ODI World Cup is scheduled to start from October 5. The first match of the World Cup is going to be between England and New Zealand. Both these teams were finalists of the 2019 ICC Men’s World Cup. It will start from Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. At the same time, India’s first match will be with five-time champion Australia in Chennai on October 8. India has not won any ICC trophy since 2013 in all three formats of cricket. India will be looking to end a decade-long drought to become World Cup winners this season.
India is hosting the World Cup 2023. There will be 48 matches this season, which will be held at 10 venues. The major tournament of ODI cricket is going to be held in India for the fourth time. All the matches of the World Cup will be played in Chennai, Delhi, Ahmedabad, Pune, Dharamshala, Lucknow, Mumbai, Kolkata, Bengaluru and Ahmedabad.
The 2023 ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup is scheduled to be held in India from October 5 to November 19, 2023. The first match will be played between New Zealand and England on 5 October. At the same time, India will have a total of 9 matches, out of which the first match will be played on October 8.

India’s first match will be played against Australia on October 8 in Chennai. Whereas, the second match will be played between India and Afghanistan on October 11 in Delhi. The match between India and Pakistan will be held on 14 October in Ahmedabad. Apart from this, there will be a match between India and Bangladesh in Pune on 19th October. After this, the match will be played between India and New Zealand on 22 October. The match between India and England will be held in Lucknow on 29 October. There will be a match between India and Sri Lanka on 2 November. An exciting match will be seen between India and South Africa on 5th November. India’s last match will be played against Netherlands on 12 November.
