News2News.in Explainer:The fire of ethnic violence in Manipur is scorching the people there, but other states are also slowly getting engulfed in the fire of this ethnic violence. The shameful incident with two women of the Kuki community has echoed in the Lok Sabha as well as in the State Assemblies. CM Gehlot sacked Minister Rajendra Gudha, who had put his own government in the dock over the violence in the Rajasthan Assembly. When the Manipur incident became a topic of discussion in the House, Gudha had given a statement that CM Ashok Gehlot also needs to look into his own collar. What he meant to say is that Rajasthan continues to be on top in rape cases. Politics regarding Manipur violence Not only in Rajasthan, but politics has started in other states regarding Manipur violence. Let us tell you that CM Hemant Soren of Jharkhand (CM Hemant Soren) wrote a letter to the President due to the violence in Manipur. He told them the last hope. After that, BJP leaders started counting the incidents of Hemant’s tenure in Jharkhand, which testify to the vandalism with women. Come, through today’s News2News.in Explainer, we tell you how the violence in Manipur has created a stir in the politics of other states.

Rajasthan minister punished for Manipur incident

Gehlot government minister Rajendra Gudha while taunting his own government in the Assembly said that instead of Manipur, we should look into our own backyard. Gudha further said that we should accept that we have failed to provide security to women. The way atrocities on women have increased in Rajasthan, there is a need to curb them. Instead of Manipur violence, we should look at our own neck. After this statement of the minister, by evening, CM Gehlot removed him from the post of minister.

BJP said the reality is not hidden

Whenever there is a rift in the ruling party, the opposition gets a chance to taunt. This is what is happening in Rajasthan now. Rajasthan Leader of Opposition Rajendra Rathore wrote on his Twitter handle that Rajasthan government minister Rajendra Gudha himself is telling the reality of the atrocities and misdemeanors being committed on sisters and daughters in Rajasthan. Under Article 164 (2) of the Constitution, the cabinet is collectively responsible for the work of the government. In this way, the statement of a minister is considered to be that of the entire cabinet i.e. the government. Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot, if not on our point, then at least take cognizance of the statement of the minister of your government. As Chief Minister, at least handle the responsibility of poor law and order.

CM Gehlot said attack on PM Modi

In a press conference on Saturday, Rajasthan Chief Minister Gehlot said that if there was a Congress government in Manipur, imagine what the BJP people would have done. The Prime Minister is roaming abroad. Going to Rajasthan and Chhattisgarh, but did not go to Manipur. The PM should go to Manipur and pacify the violence. Not only this, he further said that Manipur is still burning in the fire of violence, but regret that it has been 77 days since the violence, the Prime Minister has not visited Manipur even once to calm the violence. In the statement on Manipur violence, the Prime Minister also took the name of Rajasthan, which is a deep attack on the self-respect of Rajasthan. The PM said that the whole country is saddened by the violence in Manipur, the countrymen are not only sad but are ashamed of the failure of the government.

Rajasthan is infamous for women’s safety

The statistics released every year by NCRB show that Rajasthan continues to top the list of rape cases in the country. The unbridled number of criminals regarding rape and violence against women is a witness to this. In the NCRB report, Rajasthan has been on top in cases of violence against women for the last three consecutive years. From January 2020 to April 2022, 13,890 cases of rape have been reported in Rajasthan. Of these, 11,307 rape incidents took place with minor girls alone. In Rajasthan, 6,377 rape cases were registered in the year 2021, which is more than one thousand as compared to 5,310 in the year 2020. However, many cases also turn out to be false during investigation.

Rape of minor girls

In Rajasthan, out of 13,890 cases of rape registered between January 2020 and April 2022, 11,307 rapes took place with minor girls. The miscreants raped 170 girls in the age group of 2 years to 12 years during this period. Rajasthan has made a provision for death penalty for rape. In 2013, the government made a provision for capital punishment. Seven POCSO courts have been set up in Jaipur itself. More than a thousand cases are still going on in the Paxo Court. In some cases, the courts also awarded death sentence, but those cases are still pending in the higher court.

Glimpses of Manipur violence in Bihar as well

Begusarai district of Bihar also witnessed similar violence as in Manipur. A middle-aged music teacher was caught in a compromising position with his own student. After which, crossing the limits of mental nakedness, the local people paraded both of them naked in the village and beat them fiercely. There has been a stir in Bihar after the video of a girl being beaten naked went viral. Former Bihar minister and BJP MLA Neeraj Kumar Bablu has attacked CM Nitish Kumar. Neeraj said that such incidents happening with daughters in the state are very worrying and shameful. Embarrassing incidents are happening in the home state of Bihar itself and the CM is dreaming of becoming the Prime Minister. Nitish Kumar needs to think about his state first and not about the country.

However, after the video of the incident surfaced, the Begusarai district administration took immediate action and formed a team under the leadership of Teghra DSP and entrusted them with the investigation of the incident. Begusarai SP Yogendra Kumar told the media that apart from the teacher seen in the video, all other people present there are being identified. After which strict action will be taken against them.
