The padyatra of about 4,000 kilometers was concluded in Srinagar on January 30 this year. Bharat Jodo Yatra reached Karnataka on 30 September 2002. After this, Rahul’s padyatra in the state continued for 21 days. During this, Congress leaders and workers visited different areas, villages of the state and met people. The then Interim President of Congress Sonia Gandhi also participated in the Bharat Jodo Yatra in Karnataka. Sonia Gandhi participated in Bharat Jodo Yatra in Karnataka on 6 October. Whereas, Priyanka Gandhi joined the Yatra on October 7. During this, some emotional moments were also seen.

Due to this, it is being speculated whether the Congress is preparing for Bharat Jodo Yatra 2.0 before the 2024 Lok Sabha elections. If reports are to be believed then Bharat Jodo Yatra 2.0 will start from Porbandar or Sabarmati Ashram.
