Mumbai Terror Attack: Mumbai Police has made Tahawwur Rana an accused in the 26/11 attack case. In this regard, the police has filed a 405-page charge sheet. Let us tell you that the name of Tahawwur Rana is already included in the 26/11 terrorist attack on Mumbai in 2008. Now the police has filed a fresh charge sheet against Tahawwur Rana. Tahawwur Rana is currently lodged in a jail in California, USA. The government lawyer himself has given this information.
In this regard, police officials said that a section under UAPA has been added against Tahavur Rana. This is the fourth charge sheet in this case. At the same time, the police has found some new evidence against Tahavur Rana. Therefore, the police has once again filed a fresh charge sheet against Tahawwur Rana. It is noteworthy that an American court had approved the extradition of 62-year-old Rana to India in May this year.
Hearing will be held in special UAPA court
Let us tell you that yesterday, on Monday i.e. 25th September, Mumbai Police filed a charge sheet against Tahawwur Rana, in which they said that he was also involved in the criminal conspiracy behind the 26/11 terrorist attack. After filing the charge sheet against Rana, the court has asked the police to present their arguments for further legal action. Along with this, the hearing in the special UAPA court related to the 26/11 Mumbai terror attack case was adjourned till tomorrow. Now this case will be heard on Wednesday i.e. 27th September.
