Manipur Violence: Union Minister Smriti Irani has hit back at the opposition regarding the Manipur violence. He said that the government is ready for discussion, but the opposition is running away from the discussion. Today, Home Minister Amit Shah was repeatedly saying in the Parliament of the country that he is ready for all kinds of discussions. Home Ministry is ready for discussion on internal security in Manipur in both houses. Irani said that we are surprised that the opposition is running away from the discussion on Manipur. We want to discuss the national issues of the country in the Parliament, but the question is why the opposition is running away when the concerned minister is ready to answer in the Parliament.

Smriti Irani said, I appeal to the opposition to discuss this issue in Parliament. People elect us here, so that we can discuss the serious issues happening in the country, but Congress is running away from discussing Manipur, because Congress knows very well that they will have to answer for crimes against women in their states.

what did amit shah say in parliament

Union Home Minister Amit Shah has spoken about Manipur violence in Parliament today i.e. on Monday. Shah said in the Lok Sabha that I am ready for discussion in the House, but don’t know why the opposition itself is not willing to discuss this issue.
