Mamta Banerjee Targeted PM Modi: Union Home Minister Amit Shah addressed a public rally in Kolkata, West Bengal today on Wednesday. During this, he made many serious allegations against Mamata government and launched a scathing attack on TMC. On one hand, while Amit Shah was addressing a rally in Kolkata, on the other hand, at the same time, Mamata Banerjee was protesting in the state assembly complex regarding the payment of MNREGA scheme. Mamta Banerjee fiercely targeted BJP and the central government. Besides, TMC has also retaliated on the statements of the Home Minister.
Mamta targeted BJP
During the protest in the Assembly complex, Mamata Banerjee said while talking to journalists that the dues of 21 lakh people of the state have been withheld by the Central Government. CM said that the Central Government should release the pending funds of MNREGA and Housing Scheme. He alleged that the central government is depriving the people of Bengal of schemes. He said that our fearless fight continues. TMC MLAs also raised their voice against this and raised slogans against BJP.
BJP’s hand behind violence in Bengal:-CM
Taking aim at the BJP, Mamata claimed that there was not a single incident of violence during the festive season, but the BJP instigates clashes before and after the elections. He said that BJP is resorting to divisive politics in Bengal. Durga Puja and Kali Puja passed off peacefully, but not a single incident of violence was reported. No untoward incident took place during Chhath Puja also. But before and after the elections they (BJP) created violence and riot like situation in the state.
Accused of misuse of investigating agencies
Accusing the BJP at the Center of misusing central government agencies against opposition leaders, the Bengal CM said they are misusing central agencies against us because they are in power at the Centre. I never blame officials (of central agencies), but I must say that they (BJP) will not remain in power for very long. BJP tried to collect money for the elections with the help of ED and CBI.
CM Banerjee angry at Congress and Left Front also
Mamta Banerjee did not stop here, she targeted the Congress and the Left Front and said that some parties in the opposition are habitual liars. They do not want to contribute to the development of the state. He is even speaking in favor of stopping central funds. Obstacles are being created in development related works in the state.
Counterattacked on the statements of the Home Minister
Countering the statements of Union Home Minister Amit Shah, West Bengal Minister and TMC leader Dr. Shashi Panja said while talking to the media that why did the Home Minister suddenly remember 2026 (Assembly elections)? They understand numbers. He said that the 77 seats which BJP won in 2021 and the seats which it won in 2019 will not get both MP and MLA seats, hence BJP is scared.
