Mamata Banerjee Foreign Visit: After attending the G-20 summit dinner in New Delhi, West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee has left for an 11-day foreign tour from today. Will be in Dubai and Spain from Tuesday to 23 September. Bengal CM will participate in business summits in these countries. The visit comes ahead of the 7th Bengal Global Business Summit (BGBS), which will be held in Kolkata on November 21-22.

West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee is visiting Spain and Dubai with the aim of attracting foreign investment in her state. Giving information about the foreign tour, an official said that Mamata Banerjee is scheduled to stay in Dubai for one night. She will reach Madrid on Wednesday, where we will have business summits and other meetings for three days. After this, the Chief Minister from Madrid will go to Barcelona to hold business meetings for two-three days. CM Banerjee will return to Dubai after Madrid.

Center had given approval

Last week, the Center had given permission to the West Bengal CM to visit Spain and the United Arab Emirates (UAE). State Chief Secretary HK Dwivedi will also accompany him during this visit. While talking to the media, Mamata Banerjee had said that I am going on a foreign tour after five years. In all these years I was not approved by the Central Government. Also, Banerjee said that she does not want to travel too far. So that, in case of any emergency, I can return quickly.

CM Mamta Banerjee had visited earlier also

CM Mamata Banerjee has earlier visited Singapore, United Kingdom, Germany, Italy and Netherlands to bring foreign investment in her state. Also, while giving information on behalf of the officer, it was also said that a delegation of various famous football clubs of Kolkata will also travel to Spain along with Banerjee. Former Indian cricket captain Sourav Ganguly will also join Madrid at that time.
