Karnataka News:In Karnataka, a father killed his daughter for fear of defamation. On hearing the news of the murder, her lover also gave his life. Wherein, this Kalyugi father after killing his young daughter hanged her dead body to prove it to be suicide. Police have arrested the accused.

According to media reports, the matter pertains to Bangarpet of Kolar Gold Fields (KGF) in Karnataka. Krishnamurthy, a resident of this place, often quarreled with his daughter Keerthi over his affair. The boy Keerti was in love with was named Gangadhar. It is told that Gangadhar belonged to another caste. For this reason Kirti’s father wanted that his daughter should not get married to Gangadhar.

Police said that even today Krishnamurthy had a dispute with his daughter Kirti. The dispute increased so much that Krishnamurti killed his daughter by strangling her. He threatened the family members that if they inform the police, he will kill them all. Krishnamurthy then hanged his daughter’s body from the ceiling fan to tell the police that she had committed suicide because of a love affair.

Police said that after this we got information that a 20-year-old girl had committed suicide. When the police reached the spot, prima facie it seemed that the girl had been killed and hanged from the ceiling fan. After taking down the dead body, marks were also seen on the neck. The police sent the body for postmortem and questioned the family members. Seeing the difference in the statements, the police strictly inquired, then the reality came to the fore.

Used to love a boy of other caste

Police told that Kirti was in love with a young man, who belonged to another caste. When the police searched for Kirti’s lover, it was found that the lover’s name was Gangadhar, who worked as a mason. The police came to know that Gangadhar had committed suicide by jumping in front of the train. Gangadhar’s relatives told that he had left the house after getting the information of Keerti’s death and only after some time the information about his suicide was received. Police said that a case has been registered against the accused Krishnamurthy and he has been arrested. Karnataka Superintendent of Police Dharni Devi told that necessary action will be taken if a complaint is received from the family members of Gangadhar.
