Know why the violence erupted

According to media reports, this violence started from Shastri Nagar area of ​​Kadma in Jamshedpur. Where on the night of April 9, one side tampered with the flags on the streets on the occasion of Ram Navami. A piece of meat was tied to the bamboo of the religious flag. When the people of the other side saw it, they protested against it. There was a tussle between the two sides regarding this and soon the dispute escalated to such an extent that it took the form of a riot. In the violent protest, a lot of stones were pelted from both sides, the miscreants set many shops on fire, many vehicles were also vandalized. Apart from this, the miscreants also fired several rounds.

Over 60 people in police custody

Seeing the situation getting out of control, the police force has been deployed in the area. The police fired in the sky to drive away the miscreants. At the same time, the miscreants also started pelting stones at the police. Many policemen including SSP have been injured in this violence. After this, the police has also become strict in the matter. The police have so far arrested more than 60 miscreants. As of now, the situation is under control. But the atmosphere still remains tense. The administration has also suspended internet service in Jamshedpur. Section 144 will remain in force in the area till further orders. Police is constantly appealing to the people to maintain peace.
