IPL 2024 Auction: The auction for the Indian Premier League 2024 is being held in Dubai today. All the 10 IPL teams as well as the fans were eagerly waiting for this mini auction. The names of 333 players have been shortlisted for the IPL auction 2024, out of which 214 players are Indians. Of these 333 players, 116 are capped while 215 are uncapped and 2 are players from associate countries. A total of 77 slots are vacant across all 10 teams, out of which 30 slots are for foreign players. Australian captain Pat Cummins became the most expensive player in IPL history. This player has been bought by Sunrisers Hyderabad for Rs 20.50 crore. West Indies batsman Rovman Powell also got the golden price. The player who can be used as a middle-order batsman and fast bowler was bought by Rajasthan Royals for Rs 7 crore 40 lakh. South African bowler Riley Rousseau, whose base price is Rs 2 crore, was also not bought by anyone. English batsman Harry Brook was bought by Delhi Capitals for Rs 4 crore.
