Match stopped due to continuous rain

The toss could not even take place due to incessant rains in Ahmedabad. The rain had stopped around 9 o’clock in the night, then the match could be played without reducing the overs. But once again the rain came and stopped around eleven o’clock. In such a situation, the groundsman would have taken more than an hour to dry the ground and the match would have been reduced to 5-5 overs. In such a situation, the umpires, after discussing with the coach and captain of both the teams, have made the match on Monday i.e. today. The match will start at its scheduled time of 7:30 pm.

How will be the weather of Ahmedabad today?

Today the weather is clear in Ahmedabad. However, light rain cannot be ruled out. If the weather changes again like yesterday, then the result of the match can also be extracted from the super over. If the rain did not give this much time, then on the basis of points table and Gujarat Titans would be selected as the winner. In such a situation, Gujarat Titans will capture two consecutive IPL trophies.
