IPL 2023 Opening Ceremony: IPL-2023 has started. Bollywood veteran stars Arijit Singh, Rashmika Mandanna, Tamannaah Bhatia performed at the Narendra Modi Stadium and with this the 16th season of IPL started. The first performance at the opening ceremony was done by Arijit Singh. Arijit sang songs like Vande Mataram, Kesariya and set the stage for the opening ceremony. Arijit gave a stage performance of about 20-25 minutes and entertained the fans a lot with his songs. After performing on stage, he drove around the entire stadium in his car and sang. Tamanna Bhatia performed after Arijit Singh. Apart from South films, Tamanna also danced fiercely on Bollywood films. Tamannaah donned a silver colored dress and danced to the famous song Oo Antwa, Oo Antwa, Dil Mein Baji Ghantiyan from the film Pushpa.
Tamannaah danced for about 15 minutes and then another big South actress Rashmika Mandanna came on the stage after her. After O Leela, Rashmika danced on Pushpa’s famous songs Shrivalli and Same. After this he danced on the Oscar winning song Natu-Natu. Rashmika danced on it and as soon as the song came on, the whole stadium started dancing. Rashmika also performed for about 15 minutes.
First match between Gujarat Titans and Chennai Super Kings
The first match of the tournament is to be played between 4-time champions Chennai Super Kings and defending champions Gujarat Titans.
