INDIA Alliance Meeting: A meeting of INDIA alliance of opposition parties is going on at the residence of Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge in Delhi. Earlier it was being said that the date of the meeting has been extended.

What did Mamta say about the meeting

At the same time, earlier TMC chief and West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee had said that I do not know anything about the meeting to be held today i.e. on 6th December. He said that on Monday i.e. 4th December, Rahul called me. I told him that no one told me anything in advance about the meeting. I didn’t know anything.

CM gave the reason for not attending the meeting today on Wednesday. She said that there is a marriage of someone in my family for which I am going there. After this, on Friday i.e. 8th December I will do a program in Kurseong and on 9th December I will go to Alipurduar. He further said that on 11th December I have to reach Banarhat and on 12th December I have to attend a program in Siliguri.

CM Mamta said that I had not received any call regarding the meeting. The TMC chief also said that it is not possible to call a meeting suddenly. He said that I have already scheduled programs in North Bengal. He had further said that whenever Congress suggests a favorable date, the leaders of the India alliance will meet soon.

What did Sanjay Raut say?

At the same time, regarding the India alliance, Sanjay Raut had said that the meeting was to be held today but some prominent leaders were not available. There is a wedding at Mamata Banerjee’s house, MK Stalin is busy with relief operations in his flood-hit state, Nitish Kumar is not well and Akhilesh Yadav is not available, so this meeting will be held on 16 or 18 December.

Three meetings have already taken place

Let us inform that before this, the first meeting of opposition parties was held in Patna on June 23, 2023 and the second meeting was held in Bengaluru on July 17-18. Whereas, the third meeting was held in Mumbai during 31 August and 1 September.
