Jammu-Kashmir Earthquake: Earthquake tremors have been felt once again in Jammu and Kashmir. This tremor was felt last night in the Katra area of Jammu and Kashmir at 2.20 am on the intervening night of Tuesday and Wednesday. Due to the fear of earthquake, the people of the Union Territory came out of their homes in panic. The National Center for Seismology said that earthquake tremors were felt in many parts of North India including Delhi, as well as in the neighboring countries of Pakistan and China.

The National Center for Seismology told about the damage caused by the earthquake that it had a significant impact in Jammu and Kashmir. The epicenter of the earthquake was at a depth of six kilometers. It was told that due to the tremors of the earthquake in Bhaderwah town of Doda, cracks appeared in some buildings. At the same time, the false ceiling of a ward of the sub-district hospital itself collapsed. The official said that the ceiling debris fell on the patients admitted in the ward of the hospital, in which case the patients have been shifted to safer places and are currently undergoing treatment.
