Maharashtra Politics:Maharashtra CM Eknath Shinde and Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis met Union Home Minister Amit Shah in Delhi on Sunday. After this meeting, Eknath Shinde has given his response today i.e. on Monday. It is being told that the cabinet expansion to be held in Maharashtra was discussed in this meeting. Along with this, many development works of the state were also discussed.

CM Eknath Shinde said that yesterday I and Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis met Union Home and Cooperation Minister Amit Shah. We discussed many topics of cooperative sector. There was also discussion on the cabinet expansion to be held in Maharashtra Government, which will be expanded soon. Apart from this, the alliance of both the parties was also discussed. Whether it is Lok Sabha elections, Assembly elections or Municipal elections, Shiv Sena and BJP will fight all elections together because our ideology is one.

Eknath Shinde further said that I and Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis met Union Home Minister Amit Shah in Delhi yesterday. It was a positive meeting. He said that since the day our government was formed, the Maharashtra government is getting full support from the central government. The meeting discussed the guidance and cooperation of the central government on several projects in Maharashtra. Various development works of the state, including farmers, workers, women empowerment, Marathwada Water Grid and irrigation were discussed.

Municipal elections may be held very soon

Apart from this, he had met Chief Minister Eknath Shinde and NCP leader Sharad Pawar last week. Shinde met Pawar for the first time after becoming the chief minister. It is being told that during this meeting they discussed the municipal elections in Maharashtra. Elections to the Mumbai Municipal Corporation and other municipal bodies in the state have been postponed. Opposition is continuously targeting Maharashtra CM Eknath Shinde over this issue and demanding elections, but BJP and Shiv Sena Shinde faction say that the delay in elections is due to NCP.
