Revanth Reddy

Former state president of Congress Uttam is contesting from Huzurnagar seat of Suryapet district. He is also a Congress MP from Nalkonda Lok Sabha seat. Before this, Reddy had been MLA from Huzurnagar seat twice. In the 2018 assembly elections, Congress’s Uttam Kumar Reddy defeated BRS’s Shanampudi Saidi Reddy. Before Telangana, he had been MLA from Andhra Pradesh thrice between 1999 and 2014. He is also counted among the powerful leaders of the state.
Komati Reddy
Komati Reddy is the MP from Bhuvanagiri Lok Sabha seat. He has been made the Congress candidate from Nalgonda assembly seat. His name is also being seen as the Chief Minister of Congress in the state. He was the MLA from Komati Telangana until 2018 before being elected to the 17th Lok Sabha in May 2019. Before this, he had been MLA from Andhra Pradesh thrice between 1999 and 2014.
Why did Congress become the largest party?

The party has promised that if Congress government is formed in Telangana, then it will give Rs 4,000 per month to every unemployed youth, Rs 2,500 per month to women, Rs 4,000 per month pension to the elderly and Rs 15,000 to farmers. . Apart from this, there is also a reaction to CM KCR being in power twice. Congress is benefiting from this.
What do the trends say so far
If we look at the trends till 1 pm in Telangana, Congress is leading on 65 seats. At the same time, CM KCR’s party BRS seems to be struggling on 40 seats only. Apart from this, BJP is ahead on 8 seats and Owaisi’s party AIMIM is ahead on 5 seats.
