BJP called an important meeting of the parliamentary board.

BJP Parliamentary Board Meeting: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has called an important meeting of the Parliamentary Board on Thursday i.e. 7th December. The decision on the new Chief Ministers of Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh and Rajasthan is likely to be taken in this meeting.

This high-level meeting of BJP will take place a few days after winning the assembly elections in three states of the Hindi belt. BJP ousted Congress from power in Rajasthan and Chhattisgarh, while retaining power in Madhya Pradesh and winning with an absolute majority.

After the victory in these three states, BJP will get a lot of benefit in the Lok Sabha elections to be held next year, because these three states together send 65 MPs to the Lok Sabha and after the victory here, the enthusiasm for BJP has increased.

At the same time, earlier today on Wednesday, 10 BJP MPs including two Union Ministers who won the assembly elections resigned from the Lok Sabha. These 10 MPs tendered their resignation after meeting Prime Minister Narendra Modi and BJP President JP Nadda.

Madhya Pradesh

There are total 230 assembly seats in Madhya Pradesh. Here BJP has hoisted the flag by winning 163 seats. At the same time, amid the ongoing speculation about the Chief Minister in the state, current CM Shivraj Singh Chauhan had said on Tuesday i.e. 5th December that he was never a contender for the post of CM. He had said that neither was I a contender for the post of CM earlier nor now. I am just a party worker and whatever post or responsibility the party gives me, I will fulfill it.

Rajasthan

In the elections held on 199 seats in Rajasthan, BJP ousted Congress from power by winning 115 seats. After the victory here, there is intense discussion going on from Jaipur to Delhi regarding the name of the new Chief Minister. Former CM Vasundhara Raje, Diya Kumari, Baba Balaknath and Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore are leading in the race for Chief Minister in Rajasthan. Now it remains to be seen whether BJP makes any of them the Chief Minister of Rajasthan or a new face emerges.

Chhattisgarh

In Chhattisgarh, BJP has ousted Congress from power by winning 54 out of 90 seats. Here Congress was reduced to only 35 seats. At the same time, if we talk about the name of the Chief Minister, the names of Raman Singh, Arun Saav, OP Choudhary and Gomti Sai are in discussion.
