Bamnoli Land Acquisition Case: The dispute between Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal and Lieutenant Governor VK Saxena seems to be increasing once again. Actually, LG has shocked CM Kejriwal in the Bamnoli Land Acquisition case. LG Vinay Kumar Saxena has refused to consider the Delhi government’s report in the Bamnoli land acquisition case. In this report, Delhi Government has accused the Chief Secretary of corruption. Lieutenant Governor (LG) of Delhi V.K. Saxena said that he will not consider the report given by CM Kejriwal, because the report contains incomplete and wrong information.

LG said unfortunate

According to media reports, LG V.K. Saxena has said that the report may hinder the ongoing investigation instead of facilitating it. The LG said that he has received the ‘preliminary report’ on the complaints, which has been submitted by the Vigilance Minister. The LG said that it is unfortunate that the report contains sensitive matters related to surveillance and it has been sent in the envelope of my secretary, which is already in the public domain. Digital and electronic copies of this report are easily available and media coverage is also ongoing.

‘The purpose of the investigation was not to find out the truth’

If reports are to be believed, the LG said that prima facie it seems that the entire purpose of the investigation was not to find out the truth, but to start a media trial and politicize the entire issue. Saxena has also informed that the matter is already being investigated by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI). The LG said that the report alleged collusion of the District Magistrate, Divisional Commissioner and the Chief Secretary, which resulted in loss to the government exchequer.

Kejriwal government had demanded suspension of the Chief Secretary

Let us tell you that a 670-page report was prepared against the Chief Secretary. Which was handed over to LG from Kejriwal’s office on Wednesday.
