Antyodaya Mahasammelan: Disabled person threw shoe on Amit Shah’s stage in Karnal, was angry due to stoppage of pension

At the Antyodaya Mahasammelan held in Karnal, after Union Home Minister Amit Shah’s speech ended, a person threw a shoe towards the stage. The shoe fell before the stage. The shoe thrower is disabled. The police immediately took him into custody. The youth has been identified as Ravindra Singh, a resident of Kurukshetra. Ravindra said that the Haryana government has stopped his pension. That’s why he did this. At present he is being detained and interrogated.

Let us inform that on completion of nine years of BJP government in Haryana, Antyodaya Mahasammelan was organized in Karnal. Beneficiaries of government schemes from across the state were invited to this program. Union Home Minister Amit Shah, Chief Minister Manohar Lal, party in-charge Biplab Deb, Home Minister Anil Vij, Haryana BJP President and MP Naib Saini and all the ministers of the state were present on the main stage. Earlier, on reaching the Antyodaya Mahasammelan, Union Home and Cooperation Minister Amit Shah was welcomed by Chief Minister Manohar Lal by presenting him a bunch of flowers.

While addressing the Antyodaya Mahasammelan, CM Manohar Lal said, Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay ji had said that the criteria for schemes and economic progress should be the person standing at the last rung of the society. In the last 9 years, under the leadership of Honorable Prime Minister Narendra Modi, we have not only tried to take government schemes and services to the last person, we have started from the last person. Antyodaya is my first priority not the last. At the same time, the CM announced to increase the social security pension to Rs 3,000, which will be implemented from January 1, 2024.
