Union Home Minister Amit Shah has reached West Bengal today for his two-day visit. Meanwhile, Home Minister Amit Shah, while addressing a public meeting at Siuri in Birbhum district, has fiercely targeted Mamata Banerjee’s government and Trinamool Congress. Appealing to the people, he said that if the target of ensuring BJP’s victory in 35 out of 42 seats in West Bengal is achieved in the Lok Sabha elections, the TMC government will not survive beyond 2025.

Accusing TMC of appeasement politics, he said that due to TMC’s appeasement politics, the Ram Navami procession could not take place in Bengal. He said that once in the Lok Sabha elections from Bengal, Modi ji should form the BJP government by giving 35 seats, no one has the guts to attack the Ram Navami procession in Bengal. Earlier this month, violence broke out at various places in the state during the Ram Navami festival.

Addressing the public meeting, Union Home Minister Amit Shah said that West Bengal has become the center of bomb blasts under Mamata Banerjee’s rule. Recently, NIA has seized more than 80 thousand detonators and 27 thousand kg of ammonium nitrate in Birbhum. If the NIA had not caught, how many lives would have been lost in the bomb blasts, no one can count.
