Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav has targeted BJP over the defeat of Cricket World Cup 2023. Addressing a public meeting, he said that if the final match of Cricket World Cup had been held at Bharat Ratna Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ekana Cricket Stadium in Lucknow instead of Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad, India would have won.

Actually, Akhilesh Yadav addressed a public meeting in Etawah district of Uttar Pradesh. In which he said that if the match was held in Lucknow, Team India would have got the blessings of Lord Vishnu and former Prime Minister of India Atal Bihari Vajpayee. With this blessing the Indian team would have won against Australia. He said that the cricket stadium of Lucknow was named ‘Ekana Stadium’ by the previous Samajwadi Party government. Ekana is one of the many names of Lord Vishnu. In the year 2018, to honor the former PM and veteran BJP leader, the Yogi Adityanath government changed its name to ‘Bharat Ratna Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ekana Cricket Stadium’.

SP chief Akhilesh Yadav said – “If the World Cup 2023 final which was held in Gujarat, had it been in Lucknow, then the Indian team would have received the blessings of so many people… If the match had been held in Lucknow, then Team India would have got the blessings of Lord Vishnu and Atal Bihari. Got Vajpayee’s blessings and India would have won.

There were problems with the pitch of Narendra Modi Stadium – Akhilesh Yadav

Akhilesh Yadav also alleged that there were some problems with the pitch of Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. The preparation of the players of the Indian team remained incomplete. “Now, we have heard that there was some problem with the pitch and the preparation of the people (players) was incomplete…,” he said in his speech.
