Strict instructions to Rajasthan government also

The Supreme Court also directed Rajasthan and other states to follow its earlier order on the issue related to firecrackers during the festive season. The Supreme Court directed the Rajasthan government to take steps to reduce air pollution especially during the festival season. Also said that it is everyone’s duty to manage pollution. Everyone wants to take the pollution issue forward.

So far 19463 cases of stubble burning have been reported in Punjab.

There does not seem to be any reduction in the cases of stubble burning in Punjab. On Monday, cases of stubble burning broke last year’s record. Cases of stubble burning were reported at 2060 places in Punjab whereas on the same date last year, 599 cases of stubble burning were reported in Punjab. So far 19463 cases of stubble burning have been reported in Punjab. Due to which the Air Quality Index (AQI) of many cities of Punjab has now reached the poor category. Not only this, due to this the air has become poisonous even in the country’s national capital Delhi. People are facing a lot of problems. At the same time, the Supreme Court has strongly reprimanded the Bhagwant Mann government.
