According to media reports, Nazrina Bibi also contested as an independent candidate from Atiyabari panchayat of Dinhata in Coochbehar district. When the election results came, Nazreena also won. After this, Nazrina joined the Aam Aadmi Party in the presence of Amitabh Debnath, the district in-charge of Cooch Behar, West Bengal. In this regard, Amitabh Debnath said that joining the party of Nazreena will strengthen the organization in Coochbehar district.
AAP has become a national party in December 2022
