AAP’s entry in West Bengal: The results of the three-tier panchayat elections held in West Bengal (West Bengal) came on July 11, in which Mamata Banerjee’s party Trinamool Congress (TMC) has retained its power by registering a resounding victory. The main opposition party of the state, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), came second. Arvind Kejriwal’s party was not in the fray in this election. According to media reports, Nazrina Bibi also contested as an independent candidate from Atiyabari panchayat of Dinhata in Coochbehar district. When the election results came, Nazreena also won. After this, Nazrina joined the Aam Aadmi Party in the presence of Amitabh Debnath, the district in-charge of Cooch Behar, West Bengal. In this regard, Amitabh Debnath said that joining the party of Nazreena will strengthen the organization in Coochbehar district.

AAP has become a national party in December 2022

Significantly, after winning 5 seats in the Gujarat elections held in December 2022, the Aam Aadmi Party has got the status of a national party.
