At the same time, a heatwave alert has been issued in Delhi-NCR. The Meteorological Department said that for the next two days, there may be dust storm in many areas of Punjab and Haryana. However, after two days, there is a possibility of rain in many parts of North India.

According to the Meteorological Department, the period of strong winds along with the scorching heat will continue in the country’s capital Delhi for the next two to three days. Today i.e. on May 22, Delhi NCR is expected to record minimum temperature of 27 degree and maximum temperature of 43 degree. Today’s minimum temperature in Uttar Pradesh’s capital Lucknow is expected to be 26 degrees and the maximum temperature will be 42 degrees. According to the department, there is a possibility of dust storm with strong winds in Lucknow today.

According to the Meteorological Department, there may be light to moderate rains in North East India and Kerala in the next 24 hours. Apart from this, light to moderate rains are also likely over South Coast of Odisha, South Interior Karnataka, Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Rayalaseema, Sikkim and parts of Uttarakhand. At the same time, today there is a possibility of light rain in Tamil Nadu, Himachal Pradesh, Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Jammu and Kashmir, parts of Haryana and North Rajasthan. After this, rain activities will be seen in parts of Delhi, Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh and Punjab from tomorrow till day after tomorrow.
