According to the information received from the media, the stadium will be designed keeping Lord Shiva in mind. This cricket stadium will be designed like Trishul, Damru and Belpatra. Its design will be completely based on the stairs of Ganga Ghat. Soon BCCI and Uttar Pradesh Cricket Association may jointly organize a program and announce it. It is being told that many star cricketers are expected to participate in this program.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will lay the foundation stone
The foundation stone of this grand cricket stadium to be built in Varanasi will be laid by the Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi. According to information received from the media, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will lay the foundation stone of this stadium in Ganjri area of Varanasi on 23 September. This stadium will be built for Rs 450 crore. It will be built for approximately 30,000 spectators. Which will be full of all types of modern facilities. The Board of Control for Cricket in India and Uttar Pradesh Cricket Association have prepared a plan in this regard. It may be announced soon. BCCI will take the responsibility of management and operation of the stadium. As part of this agreement, the Board will also make annual fixed payments to the government in exchange for the lease.
Larsen and Toubro have prepared the design
This grand cricket stadium to be built in Varanasi has been designed by Larsen & Toubro. After getting the necessary no objection certificate for its construction, the construction process will start. The government has allocated Rs 120 crore for land acquisition, with the remaining Rs 330 crore earmarked for stadium construction.
