This information has been given by the local authorities. The governor of Dagestan, Sergei Melikov, said that three children were among those who died in the blast.

The explosion occurred on the outskirts of Makhachkala in Dagestan on Monday night. According to media reports, citing the country’s emergency ministry, the fire started in a car repair shop and spread to a nearby gas station, causing the explosion. Many buildings and cars were completely destroyed due to this blast.
So far 30 people have lost their lives due to the fire. At the same time, more than 105 people are injured. Some of the injured have been taken to Moscow for treatment. More than 260 fire brigade teams were deployed to extinguish the fire caused by the blaze. However, now the fire has been brought under control. Makhachkala, a city of over 600,000 inhabitants on the Caspian Sea, is the capital of Dagestan, a Russian republic bordering Chechnya. It shares borders with Georgia and Azerbaijan.
