PM Modi Egypt Visit: After concluding his visit to America, Prime Minister Narendra Modi today left for Egypt on the second leg of his two-nation tour. At the invitation of President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi, Prime Minister Modi has left for a state visit to Egypt on June 24-25. The visit is significant as it is Modi’s first visit to Egypt and the first official bilateral visit by an Indian prime minister to Egypt since 1997. While there have been occasional visits in the past, they have mostly been related to multilateral events.
Prime Minister Modi’s visit to Egypt comes just after Egyptian President El-Sisi’s visit to India as the chief guest on the Republic Day, signaling the strengthening of bilateral ties and boosting cooperation between the two countries.
PM will visit Al-Hakim Mosque
During his two-day state visit, PM Modi will visit the 11th century Al-Hakim Mosque. Please tell that this is a very important cultural place for Dawoodi Bohra Community of India. In addition, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit the Heliopolis War Cemetery to pay homage to the brave Indian soldiers who made the supreme sacrifice for Egypt during World War I.

Bilateral talks will be held between India and Egypt
Explain that during the visit of PM Narendra Modi, there will be bilateral talks with Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi. During this, there will be agreements in many areas. These include agriculture, small and medium-sized enterprises, information technology, trade and culture. These are very important aspects between India and Egypt. Also, a program of several strategic partnerships will also be signed. Apart from this, PM Narendra Modi will also interact with senior dignitaries of the Government of Egypt and some prominent personalities and will also meet the people of the Indian community.
