Pakistan Bomb Blast: There was a bomb blast in Peshawar, Pakistan on Monday. This explosion took place near Prime Hospital. One FC officer was killed in this IED blast, while 8 people including two civilians were injured. This blast took place targeting the convoy of security forces.

Giving information in this regard, the police said that on Monday an explosion took place near Prime Hospital Complex on Warsak Road, Peshawar. A Frontier Constabulary (FC) officer was killed in the blast, while eight others, including two civilians, were injured.

Warsak Superintendent of Police (SP) Mohammad Arshad Khan confirmed that a vehicle of the Mohmand Rifles Regiment of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa FC was targeted in the attack which took place around 10.30 am. He told that the vehicle was going from Machni towards Peshawar. It was during this time that the explosion occurred.

He further said that the blast was carried out using an improvised explosive device (IED). The SP said that further investigation is going on and the bomb disposal team is also investigating it. Only after this will it become clear what else was used in the blast. Apart from this, he prayed for the speedy recovery of the injured.

There was an explosion in Balochistan also

Earlier, on April 10, there was a bomb blast in Kandahari market of Quetta, the capital of Balochistan, Pakistan. Four people were killed in this bomb blast, while many people were injured. According to the information, a large number of people were present in this market of Kandahari for Eid shopping. It was during this time that a bomb blast took place. Information about this blast was immediately given to the police. At the same time, with the help of local people, the injured were admitted to a nearby hospital.
